ASC Checklists

More than ten percent of the seven million surgeries performed annually in Ambulatory Surgery Centers are orthopaedic surgeries. AAOS encourages all individuals who utilize ASCs, whether as patients or as healthcare professionals, to make these checklists a part of each ASC procedure. Utilizing both the Pre-Operative and Post-Operative Patient Safety Check Lists will create an environment of safety conciousness in Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
