Why Should You Use the Placement Service?
- We provide the only comprehensive placement service for the orthopaedic community.
- Your listing will be available online to all AAOS Members.
- We are cost-effective. Compare our fee with the cost of running an ad in a medical journal retaining the services of a professional recruiter.
- We provide on-site recruiting during our Annual Meeting at no additional cost to subscribers.
New Placement Service subscription rates in 2013!
To keep your listing current, starting January 2, all subscriptions and listings will expire after 3 months.
A 3-month subscription includes one online listing and access to the online Job Seeker’s profiles and CVs. The cost is only $400. Subscription fees must be prepaid.
Important Information for Professional Recruiters
The Placement Service has been established for the benefit of the Academy membership. In addition to orthopaedic surgeons, the Service is also available to hospital administrators and other medical professionals. However, Academy members have explicitly requested that professional recruiters, commercial recruitment, advertising or management agencies not be allowed to participate in this service. Accordingly, this policy is strictly enforced by the Academy. We respectfully request that listings not be passed on to any commercial placement agency.
