Film series focuses on cross-cultural health care

Four short films and a study guide on health care services for culturally and ethnically diverse patients are available for viewing through The Commonwealth Fund Web site (RealPlayer or Windows Media Player required). The films dramatize communication between patients and their doctors, tensions between modern medicine and cultural beliefs, and the ongoing problems of racial and ethnic discrimination. The study guide is designed to trigger discussions among health professionals about health care services for culturally and ethnically diverse patients.
