Four stimulating days of keynote lectures, hands-on tutorials, expert case presentations, and specialty breakout sessions take participants to the cutting edge of modern pediatric orthopaedics. This Symposium covers the full spectrum of pediatric and adolescent musculoskeletal care: hand, hip, spine, trauma, sports, foot, limb deformity, CP, syndromes, tumor and more. Learn surgical techniques and management pearls from a large faculty representing the national and international pediatric orthopaedic thought-leaders.

This course is designed to give you the knowledge and skills to:

  • Evaluate patients with pediatric orthopaedic disorders and formulate a treatment plan
  • Compare and contrast various surgical and nonsurgical treatment protocols for managing pediatric spinal deformities, sports injuries, hips and foot disorders, and neuromuscular conditions
  • Compare and contrast techniques of managing congenital disorders of the upper extremity
  • Discuss complications of managing pediatric fractures and how to avoid them

Request for a refund must be received in writing in the Academy Office (AAOS, 6300 North River Road, Rosemont, IL 60018-4262) by November-23-2010. In all instances a cancellation fee will be charged. Beyond these dates, no monetary refunds will be issued. Instead, the tuition amount, less cancellation fee, will be credited toward another AAOS course within one year.

The Academy reserves the right to cancel a course thirty (30) days prior to the course date. Any person who has registered for the course will be notified by email and/or certified mail at the address noted in the AAOS member database. A telephone call will also be made to each registrant for whom a number is available. Persons whose registration is received after a course is cancelled will be notified by telephone, email or mail. Registration fees will be refunded in full. However, other costs incurred by the registrant, such as airline or hotel penalties are the responsibility of the registrant.
