This year’s program continues to focus on the activities orthopaedic surgeons must engage in to ensure their practices remain successful in today’s rapidly changing healthcare environment. Topics will include practical strategies for generating new revenue and holding the line on overhead; tried-and-true marketing techniques, tips for being paid promptly and correctly by patients and insurance companies; and guidance regarding how to adjust to an increasingly electronic world: i.e., EMR, PACS and the Internet. Speakers will include orthopaedic surgeons and administrators as well as nationally-recognized outside consultants and practice advisors.
The registration fee for AAOS Members and their practice administrators is $420; the fee for non-member physicians is $520. Last year’s Symposium was a sell out, so make it a point to register today.
